NASA’s rolling 24-hour Southeast Asia export; nominal/high-confidence detections on mainland Sumatra and Indonesian Kalimantan, filtered with Natural Earth land polygons. Counts are satellite detections, not fire totals or clusters, and are not directly comparable to ASMC’s NOAA-20 counts. Clouds can hide fires. The public export is retrieved by GitHub Actions hourly; this page checks for updates every 5 minutes and on Refresh Data. Satellite passes and processing delays mean detections may not change every hour. Newly listed means absent from the preceding successful retrieval, not a confirmed new fire. Retrievals over 3 hours old are flagged; after 24 hours they are hidden. Individual observations older than 24 hours are removed as time passes.
